Introduction: Do you want Jesus Christ to fill your cup? Does your cup ever get empty? Bring it to Him! Let Him fill your cup up today. If you ask Him in faith, He will. Why not drink His LIVING WATER? He’s got it! Drink it!!
Let’s take a look at the book:
1. If you are thirsty, then Jesus will Fill your Cup! (John 7:37,38) – “…..the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”
The key is “believing”. Do you believe? If so, get ready for a raging River to flow through you.
2. If you are lonely, then Jesus will Fill your Cup! (John 4) – “Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.”
There was a weary, worn-out woman who discovered the WATER of LIFE. Actually, she had her water pot ready to fill it up from a deep well. But it just so happens that Jesus, due to weariness, is sitting on the well. Meanwhile, He strikes up a conversation with her because He knew her great need was to drink of the LIVING WATER that He offers all. Back and forth the dialogue went until He revealed her empty cup and broken life.
Next, as her eyes were opened, her heart was quickened, and her life was changed—all because she tasted of the fountain of living water that flowed from the LOVER of her SOUL! Once her cup was FILLED as she drank the water Jesus offered her, then a RIVER of Life flowed to others whose CUP was FILLED as well.
3. If you are needy, then Jesus will Fill your Cup! (Rev 22:16) – “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.”
What a great INVITATION with a fantastic CELEBRATION! Jesus is offering LIVING WATER to every thirsty soul. Are you thirsty? Drink. Drink, my friend! It is refreshing, invigorating, and exhilarating. Take it in. Give it out.
Conclusion: Now then, FILL my CUP LORD! Give me Living Water. Flow like a River. Quench my thirst. Then pour me out so others can drink from the Fountain that shall never run dry.
